Welcome to the 11th Annual Aces for Kids Golf Outing to benefit Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. For more than a decade, our friends and colleagues have joined together to support the Cancer and Blood Disorders Program at Connecticut Children’s and since that time, we’ve raised an impressive $500,000 and helped to create the most comprehensive, patient-centered program in the region. However, our work is not done.
Not all cancers are created equally and some are harder to treat than others - some recur and some don’t respond to conventional treatments at all. That is why the Division of Hematology/Oncology at Connecticut Children’s has established the Advanced Cancer Care & Research Program. Families in the Advanced Cancer Care Program receive access to early phase treatment options, novel therapeutic medications, in-depth emotional support, financial assistance, end-of-life care and most importantly - hope.
It is for those children that Aces for Kids has re-dedicated its efforts to the Cancer and Blood Disorders Program at Connecticut Children’s. With your help, all our children with advanced and difficult-to-treat cancers will receive the specialized care they need and deserve.
I greatly appreciate your commitment to these kids and their families through your participation in the Aces Golf Outing.
