What is Extra Life? Extra Life is a year-round fundraising program of Children’s Miracle Network that empowers gamers to Make Big Change for All Kids. Gamers all around the world unite to play games that they love—from video and digital games to tabletop or even sports games—all while supporting an amazing cause. Every dollar donated will support Connecticut Children’s Greatest Needs fund, helping provide life-saving treatments and services, innovative research, pediatric equipment and technology, child life services, and more.

At just nine years old, Luca was diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer called synovial sarcoma. After months of chemotherapy, radiation, and a complex surgery at Connecticut Children’s, he’s now a thriving seventh grader with big dreams for the future.
