The Research Institute supports Health Excellence in Research & Innovative Outcomes, Fetal & Neonatal Regenerative Medicine, Microbiology, Vaccinology and Pathobiology, Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Research, and Rare Disease.

The Greatest Need Children’s Fund is a vital resource that helps Connecticut Children’s provide exceptional care and critical support services for kids and families—whenever and wherever they are needed most, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. As a pediatric health system, many of the specialized programs and services children rely on are not reimbursed by insurance, making philanthropic support essential to ensuring every child receives comprehensive, compassionate care.
