Yes! If you have a specific division or specialty you would like to direct donations to, please discuss this during the initial conversation with your events staff contact. Please note, certain programs might not be available for philanthropic support.
Take it one step at a time. Log in to your GoFundmePro Fundraising Center for helpful tips and tools, and to edit and share your Personal Fundraising Page. Create a budget, set a goal, use social media and engage friends and family. We'll also provide you with guidance along the way.
Pro tip: Making the first donation to your fundraising page encourages others to donate.
We cannot guarantee physicians, staff or volunteers at your event. We have videos available for you to share which highlight the mission of Connecticut Children’s.
If you are seeking a large donation, we ask that you notify us before asking a business or company for a donation, cash or in-kind to avoid duplicate solicitations. In your toolkit is a template you may use to solicit donations.
We're here to guide you and we provide tools in your Fundraising Center to help you promote your event. We are not able to guarantee promotion through our social media platforms. However, if you tag our accounts, we do our best to share when possible
Yes, you can download the “In Support of Connecticut Children's Foundation" logo in the toolkit. Whenever you use our logo or name, your final piece (flyer, etc.) needs to be approved by our event staff.
Unfortunately no as we would not be able to track the funds to your personal fundraising efforts. However, you can share your Classy fundraising page on Facebook to push out to your network.
You're responsible for covering event expenses and will not be reimbursed by Connecticut Children's. If you are paying for expenses, please deduct these from the funds raised prior to sending your donation check to us. Your expenses shouldn't exceed 30% of funds raised. If you are solely raising funds online, we cannot cut a check for reimbursement.
All proceeds need to be made payable to Connecticut Children's Foundation. Please mail your donation with the mail-in donation form found in your Fundraising Toolkit to: Connecticut Children's Foundation, Attn: CYO, PO Box 412901, Boston, MA 02241-2901.
