Connecticut Children’s is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a Scholar Hope grant from Hyundai Hope on Wheels to advance pediatric cancer research. This contribution will support ongoing efforts to discover new treatments and ultimately find cures for childhood cancers.

Hyundai Hope on Wheels also announced its $100,000 presenting sponsorship of the 15th annual PJ Day for the Kids. This annual fundraising event originated with a second-grader asking his classmates to give $1 to wear their PJs to school, to honor his baby sister and the other children at Connecticut Children’s who spend weeks or months in PJs during cancer treatment. Since 2011, more than $4.7 million has been raised in support of Connecticut Children's Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders.
