The 29th Annual Abitz-Angel Memorial Golf Tournament is back in full swing to benefit Connecticut Children’s Foundation and other local charities through the BSBI Brotherhood of Manchester Connecticut! The Abitz-Angel Memorial Golf Tournament is named in memory of two dedicated men who endlessly gave back to the community, and who also helped make this tournament a success. Todd Abitz, who was one of the tournament founders, and chaired the board in its early years, and Bill Angel, who played in the tournament for most of its existence, contributed generously, and helped the event grow for nearly two decades.
Since 1997 The Abitz-Angel Memorial Golf Tournament is organized by the Men’s Club of Beth Sholom B’nai Israel. Whether you participate as a volunteer, a golfer, a sponsor, or a donor, thank you in advance for helping to make this year’s tournament a success!
The funds raised through the tournament benefit a wide array of local non-profits and community organizations that strive to make our corner of the world a better place. The primary beneficiary is Connecticut Children’s Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders.
